Subject:Successful completion of H2020 CHARIOT Project

On the 10th of December 2020, CHARIOT project (Cognitive Heterogeneous Architecture for Industrial IoT) held a successful online final Consortium meeting with the participation of 12 partners and the coordination of INLECOM, by Mr. Konstantinos Loupos.

The CHARIOT project, which commenced in January 2018, is due to be completed at the end of 2020. It has provided a design method and cognitive computing platform supporting a unified approach towards Privacy, Security and Safety (PSS) of IoT Systems in an IoT industrial-areas of smart buildings, airports and railways.

During the meeting, the key outcomes of the project have been presented along with the achievements and the demonstrations conducted in three Living Labs (LLs) - Athens International Airport, IBM campus in Dublin, and FST/Trenitalia railway in Florence.

eBOS Technologies has been responsible for the overall Quality Assurance of the project ensuring the project’s smooth execution and the achievement of high standards. Moreover, eBOS had a leading role on the overall CHARIOT setup, execution and validation activities performed in the 3 LLs. The project’s completion also brought the successful completion of the LLs activities, which have been well aligned with industry’s requirements for industrial IoT, as reflected in standards and organizations (such as the ENISA, AIOTI, Open Group and NIST).

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 780075.
