eBOS Technologies Ltd is pleased to announce the participation in yet another European research project named SELIS. The SELIS Project: Towards a Shared European Logistics Intelligent Information Space is a project within the EU's Horizon 2020 program with an exceptionally strong consortium of 38 European logistics stakeholders and ICT providers and with a total budget of almost 18 million Euro.
SELIS unifies business, technology and capacity innovation for Green Logistics in order to deliver a Shared European Logistics Intelligent Information Space with a clear path towards commercialisation and large scale adoption. The consortium joins forces leveraging EU IP from over 40 projects, to create a Common Communication and navigation platform for pan-European logistics applications. SELIS platform will be deployed in 8 Living Labs across Europe representing the principal logistics communities in each region.
Each Living Lab will implement its own unique adaptation of pan European Green Logistics Strategies dynamically utilising enriched data, sets and tools to achieve a target of 30% reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, while also realising at the same time efficiency and quality improvements.
The kick-off meeting of the Project will take place in Athens, Greece, on September 29th and 30th 2016 and will be hosted by Inlecom Systems, the Coordinator of the Project.
eBOS Technologies continuous participation in European projects is a proof of the hard work, devotion and high level of know-how and expertise of its research team.
